Elf and Reindeer

Isn't this Christmas fabric just too cute. I love the little elf on his reindeer. The Twisted Thursday challenge this week was "Anything Goes"

Addicted to CAS: Spooky

Happy Halloween! 
Addicted to CAS provided a code work that you needed to create your card around. The keyword was "Spooky". I brayered the background and then stamped the haunted houses from Outlines Rubber Stamps in black ink. I used a yellow Spica Pen to fill in the windows. The cat, moon, and bats are stickers that were in my stash.

CAS on Sunday #70

CAS on Sunday provided a sketch for this week's challenge. I used washi tape and then stamped and fussy cut the snowman. The words are perfect for this image.

CASology Challenge 170: Heart

CASology provides a cue card to jump start your CAS cardmaking.  The word this week was Heart. The heart stamp is from Magenta and the words from Hero Arts.

The Coloring challenge at The Outlawz this past Friday was a color challenge. There were 5 potential colors to use and you needed to use 3. I chose to use the various shades of purple. The image is from Inkadinkado.

Harvest Canvas


I do a monthly mixed media challenge every month at a local stamp store. The theme this monthy was Harvest.  I used a variety of products on this card including Silks paints, acrylic paints,  and Viva 3D stamp paint. The pumpkins and fence post/wagon wheel were watercolored. There was washi tape in the kit, so I used that for the "Thanks"

With Sympathy

We learned a brayering technique at stamp club this month to do backgrounds. It is a really cool look. I think it makes a pretty sympathy card.

Christmas Tree

This is another card using the brayering of ink onto the embossing folder. I add liquid pearls for the ornaments and used Wink of Stella on the star.

The Tuesday color challenge at The Outlawz was an inspirational picture that was of a garden of flowers. You could choose anything from the photo as your inspiration. I went easy with the flowers.  The image is from Heartfelt Creations.

These snowman were made using an embossing folder that I brayered ink onto and them embossed the card. So easy and a cool effect.

The Saturday Paper A La Mode Challenge at The Outlawz was to make a non-traditional Christmas card. I chose to use all yellow papers for my card. The corners are stickers that I colored with black.

Fall Foilage

Sketch challenge for The Outlawz. The stamps are from JustRite. I used my Kalidecolor inks on them. It has been a long time since I have used them. I then added an embossed background of leaves.

Fall Bliss

The Monday Greeting challenge at The Outlawz was to use fall colors and Twine. I used an image from Serendipity Stamps. I watercolored the image. The embossed background just adds so much to the final project. I used 3 different fall color twines.

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz was "Girl Power". I used this image from LaLa Land Crafts for my girl. I layered a lot of coordinating papers t create my background. I am really liking this card.

The Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz last week was to make a birthday card. The image of from Lili of the Valley. They have the cutest images. I colored him with copics and cut him out in a circle. I made the circle in my border paper and then embossed it with a birthday embossing folder.

Mustasche Dogs



Aren't these dogs with mustaches so cute? They are made with fabric and fussy cut. I just embossed a background layer and cut a spot for them to sit. Fabric is one of my favorite mediums to work with.

Halloween Greetings

Today was the first challenge I hosted at The Outlawz's CAS challenge. My theme was Halloween. This is the card I made for it. The image is from Outlines Rubber Stamps. It has been in my stash for a very long time. I colored it with copics and Wink of Stella pens.

This napkin says it all for itself. Nothing additional needed to be added to make this a perfect card. I used a border die from My Favorite Things.

Merry Christmas

The Tuesday color challenge at The Outlawz was to use red and two colors of your choice. This is a sticker that I placed on dark red paper and then colored the poinsettia with pink Wink of Stella. The grids around the poinsettia I painted with black Wink of Stella. I used a yellow pearl pen in the center.

Happy Halloween

This is a Halloween ATC that I did for a swap. The Twisted Thursday and Saturday Paper A La Mode challenges at The Outlawz last week had ATCs as their challenge. I shared this with both of those challenges. The background was done with Dylusions paints. The bats were added using a Hero Arts background stamp. All the pieces were from a die set from My Favorite Things. The ghosts were made with fun foam and stickles were used for their eyes.
