Baseball Boy

Owl and his Mushroom

The sketch challenge at The Outlawz this week. The image is from Unity Stamp Company. I colored him with copics and added glossy accents to the mushroom, beak and feet. I used orange Wink of Stella on the dots around his face and to highlight the dark brown stripes of the owl. There is washi tape at the top and bottom of the card.

One Birthday....

Shades of Gray

The Saturday Paper A La Mode challenge at The Outlawz was to use shades of Gray, Black, and white. The image I used is from Unity Stamp Company and I added just a touch of yellow to the beak and feet. I put the dark gray and black papers together and then embossed them.

Music


The Friday coloring challenge at The Outlawz was "Music".  I colored this image from LaLa Land with copics and added some glossy accents to the stars. I also used a gold spica pen in his hair. The background is a piece of fabric that I embossed with a music embossing folder. This is the first time I have attempted to emboss a piece of fabric. The boy is popped up.

Wednesday Sketch

The Wednesday sketch challenge at The Outlawz. The image is from Unity Stamp Company. I colored with copics and added Glossy Accents to all the hearts. I used Wink of Stella to accent the yellow areas on the flowers. I think that I will be making more cards with this sketch. 

Love is in the Air

The Tuesday color challenge at The Outlawz gave you 5 colors to choose from. You needed to use there colors. The colors I chose were Tulip Purple, Daffodil Yellow, and Leaf Green.  The twist was to add shine. The image is from Unity Stamp Company. I added Glossy Accents to the hearts and the girl's shoes.

Napkin Art

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was Mother's Day. Several years ago I was hooked on using napkins on my cards. I put that away a long time ago. The concept has resurfaced again recently. I used mod podge to adhere my napkin (single ply) to the cardstock. To finish it off, I added a bow.

Skateboard Boy

I love the Julie Nutting paper doll stamps and now that there are boys......  The Saturday Paper Ala Mode Challenge at The Outlawz was anything goes. What a great opportunity to showcase one of the boys. His outfit was paper pieced using a very old collection of Basic Grey paper.

The Friday coloring challenge at The Outlawz was Celebrations. I chose to do a birthday celebration. The image is from My Favorite Things. I love that they now have dies to match the stamps. I would have never cut her out. This will give me so much more versatility with their stamps.

Bike Ride

I do a monthly mixed media challenge for a local scrapbook store (Pages in Time). The theme for this canvas was repetition. We were supplied with a Dina Wakely paint, a stencil, a black fud ball pen and a stick pin. You can use up to 5 other products on your canvas.

The Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz this week was to add a charm. The image I used is from Unity Stamp Company. I colored it with copics and embellished it with Sparkle-n-Fluff (Sparkle-n-Sprinkle), Spica Pens (Copic) and Glossy Accents. I cut it out and popped it up on the oval.

May Day

Apparently, the tradition in New England is for someone to fill a basket with flowers and candy, drop it on a doorstep, ring the bell and run! If the giver is caught they get a kiss!
